A Culinary Journey
LIFE IS A FEAST
Franky's journey began at the tender age of sixteen, when he stepped into the bustling kitchen of his family's taverna as a kitchen assistant. It was here that he first wielded the flames of the charcoal grill, igniting his love affair with cooking.
Despite his young age, Fragkiskos was determined to hone his craft. Upon completing high school, he wasted no time and enrolled in culinary school, eager to expand his culinary repertoire. During his first year, he immersed himself in the world of private service in the enchanting island of Mykonos, setting the stage for his culinary adventures to come.
His journey took him to the vibrant culinary scene of Athens, where he honed his skills in various establishments. His dedication and talent were soon recognized when he clinched the gold medal in a prestigious pan-Hellenic food competition, earning him a coveted opportunity to embark on an Erasmus+ journey to France.
Upon graduating from culinary school, Fragkiskos returned to Mykonos, where he assumed the role of head chef at the renowned vegetarian-vegan restaurant, "Bowl Mykonos." A stint in London at "La Petite Maison" further enriched his culinary repertoire before he returned to "Bowl" for consecutive successful seasons.
However, fate took an unexpected turn when an accident sidelined Fragkiskos for four months. Undeterred, he emerged stronger and resumed his culinary odyssey, this time delving into the secrets of Italian cuisine during a transformative journey.
Back in Athens, Fragkiskos embarked on a new chapter as a stagier at "Fuga" restaurant, where he delved into the intricate world of Nikkei cuisine under the tutelage of Chef Patron Dimitris Katrivesis. Yet, just as he was poised to embark on new culinary heights, the global outbreak of COVID-19 forced him to retreat into isolation, where he dedicated himself to refining his techniques.
Summer of 2020 saw Fragkiskos lending his culinary prowess as a private chef in Mykonos for "Sarelas ECS." Finally, in the summer of 2021, after years of toil and perseverance, Fragkiskos realized his lifelong dream by founding his own private services company, "Franky's Food," based in Mykonos.
Driven by an unwavering ambition, Fragkiskos' ultimate goal is to elevate "Franky's Food" to global acclaim, leaving an indelible mark on the culinary world.
